Throughout my career, I have recognized a gap in healthcare. I noticed that systems were not working together to reach a common goal. People were getting missed, forgotten, or receiving lackluster care. This observation drove my passion to create a wellness center that allows for multiple disciplines to utilize their expertise, creating a comprehensive plan for total health. I am dedicated to de-stigmatizing mental health concerns while promoting the importance of mind & body alliance.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor. What does all of that mean? It means I attended specialized training to receive a license to practice counseling in Ohio. I first received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Ohio State University. While at OSU and post graduation, I volunteered with local non-profits where I mentored youth. These opportunities sparked my drive to continue my journey in the world of mental health and addiction. I decided that becoming a counselor was the right path for me, which led me to my graduate school experience. I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University. I spent a few years working with children and families to identify dysfunctional patterns, process trauma, and understand the systemic impact of addiction. I've worked with a diverse client base with a variety of issues such as abuse, addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, transitions, personality disorders, and chronic illness.

As a Counselor I ensure that my clients feel heard and empowered. I follow the approach that you are the expert in your life. You are the driver but I can assist with the navigation, exploring the map to guide you through your options, getting you where you want to be as a person. We will work collaboratively to construct the plan that best suits you and your wellness journey.

After working in my community in urgent care and pain management, I noticed a lack of mental health resources. The current model of healthcare often alienated its patients. This really sparked my passion in pursuing mental health services.

I am a board certified family nurse practitioner. I completed my Bachelors of Science in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati in 2012 and my Masters of Science in Nursing, also at the University of Cincinnati, in 2014. I also have a Bachelors of Science in Biology. I am a Cincinnati native and excited to serve my community. I hope by working together we can realize your best path, even if it doesn't go as you have planned.

I have worked with under served patients in my training of all ages, so I am sensitive of the needs of patients across the life span. I have treated mental health concerns in primary care and in pain management. I hope by utilizing our services, we can partner together to find your path to wellness, no matter how many twists and turns there are.
