Hello, my name is Emily (she/her) and I’m excited to meet you!
I understand that adolescence is filled with change, new experiences, and a few bumps along the way. I have a passion for helping children build new skills and strengthen existing ones to combat whatever life throws at them.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Ohio. I received my Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati, and went on to receive my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University (don’t worry - I root for both teams!)
I have worked in community mental health as well as school-based settings helping a wide range of clients and their families. Throughout my career, I have focused on fostering stigma-free mental health treatment to help nurture a strong, life-long awareness of personal well-being. In sessions, I love to use art, mindfulness, sensory / fidget toys, and CBT to take a well-rounded approach to every client I work with.
In my free time, I’m always with my husband (who I just got married to!), our respective parents, my nephews, and our sweet Velcro dog, Rocky! We love collecting vinyl records, exploring our beautiful city, and spending time with our friends!
