<image:caption>Throughout my career, I have recognized a gap in healthcare. I noticed that systems were not working together to reach a common goal. People were getting missed, forgotten, or receiving lackluster care. This observation drove my passion to create a wellness center that is passionate about collaborative care to assist with the best individualized treatment for every client. I am dedicated to de-stigmatizing mental health concerns while promoting the importance of mind & body alliance. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor. What does all of that mean? It means I attended specialized training to receive a license to practice counseling in Ohio & Kentucky. I first received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Ohio State University. While at OSU and post graduation, I volunteered with local non-profits where I mentored youth. These opportunities sparked my drive to continue my journey in the world of mental health and addiction. I decided that becoming a counselor was the right path for me, which led me to my graduate school experience. I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University. I spent a few years working with children and families to identify dysfunctional patterns, process trauma, and understand the systemic impact of addiction. I've worked with a diverse client base with a variety of challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, eating disorders, addiction, sexual and gender identity, women’s issues, grief and life transition. Since opening Cincinnati Renewed Wellness, I have found my clinical work primarily focused on understanding the complex impact of trauma on functioning, relationships, and communication. This led me to my training and certification in EMDR and I now integrate this treatment modality in a lot of my work. What inspires me about EMDR is that it can be utilize to a wide variety of clients that do not have to have a traumatic event to benefit from the modality. In addition to my trauma work, I thoroughly enjoy working with individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community and those who are under the neurodiverse umbrella. As a late diagnosed woman with ADHD, I feel passionate about supporting clients in finding affirming and supportive care to better understand and accept themselves. As a Counselor I ensure that my clients feel heard and empowered. I follow the approach that you are the expert in your life. You are the driver but I can assist with the navigation, exploring the map to guide you through your options, getting you where you want to be as a person. We will work collaboratively to construct the plan that best suits you and your wellness journey. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two wild & sweet boys and husband. When able, I thoroughly enjoy traveling, exploring new restaurants, or floating on the river in my kayak with my husband and friends. I am always down for an adventure and hope to encourage others to do the same.</image:caption>

<image:caption>I am an Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, who has been in practice for the past seven years. I received my undergraduate degree from Miami University and my Master’s Degree from Xavier University, and have lived in the Cincinnati area for over forty years. I have raised two daughters and run a small business over the past twenty years, before deciding to move more deeply into the helping professions, earning my clinical counseling degree. The majority of my clinical experience lies in working with adolescents and college students, and in the past I have enjoyed several years of being an embedded mental health counselor at a local high school. In my clinical practice, I strive to give my clients practical and useful ideas to help them navigate stressful situations and create their best lives. I often pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology and Dialectical Behavior Therapy principles to my clients as tools to help along the way. However, I am not limited to those listed above. I utilize a variety of approaches to best fit the unique and specific needs of my clients. The foundation of my practice is to offer a non judgmental space for my clients to work through troubling situations, while at the same time empowering them to make positive changes. I am an empathic listener who values connecting with my clients in a real and authentic way, building trust and mutual respect. In my free time I enjoy playing outside, running, biking and kayaking. I have a spoiled rescue dog who enjoys adventuring with me whenever possible. I am a life-long learner who truly enjoys working with people.</image:caption>

<image:title>Montenegro - Ellie Montenegro, MA, LPC</image:title>
<image:caption>Hi, I’m Ellie (she/her) and I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a queer, neurodivergent counselor who enjoys helping people overcome stuck points in life - feeling stuck in a past memory or experience, feeling stuck in a depressive rut or anxiety spiral, feeling stuck in fear or overwhelm, or just feeling stuck, period. Maybe you know exactly what you want from counseling, or maybe you just want something to change. Wherever you are in your healing journey, we’ll work through things together. I work from a trauma-informed, person-centered perspective, and combine talk therapy (like ACT and DBT) with whole-body approaches (such as EMDR and IFS). In our sessions, you can expect to learn emotion regulation skills, explore the roots of your problems, and actually feel those feelings you’ve been thinking about (I see you, intellectualizers!). I’m also trained in EMDR and ERP, and can help you process trauma and intrusive thoughts in a safe, supportive environment. Outside the counseling room, you can find me with my diva cat Dolly, practicing aerial arts, reading the latest Emily Henry novel, or exploring Cincinnati’s ice cream scene. I know from my clinical work (as well as my own mental health journey) that wellness isn’t a linear path with a clear start and finish. Instead, it’s a series of small shifts that gradually build into a rich, fulfilling life. If you’re ready to start making a change together, schedule a consultation with me today!</image:caption>

<image:title>Younce - Tanya Younce MEd, LPCC</image:title>
<image:caption>We are all wired to find equilibrium – the state of rest and balance with our body, mind, and spirit. But sometimes outside influences like relationships, work, money, illnesses, politics, and world issues keep that from happening. We take a few steps forward, only to get pushed back much further. If you find yourself struggling to cope and hold things together in the midst of stress, loss, and/or a radical change, Life is likely calling for you to grow. Engaging in therapy is like going on a journey with a trusted guide who sees, hears, teaches, and supports you wholeheartedly. I am a therapist who can lead you to new insights, challenge outdated beliefs and patterns, heal old wounds, and develop the skills to cope with life adversities – now and in the future. Some specific journeys I’ve helped clients navigate are: facing the challenges of midlife, marital disconnection, identity crises, divorce recovery, grief and loss, finding work/life balance, and managing crippling anxiety. I use a very humanistic and compassionate approach and will provide you with a warm and nonjudgmental environment where you’ll feel safe to unburden your tension and replace it with new wisdom. A little about me. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Ohio and Texas, with over 15 years' experience in all levels of mental health care, and trained in several treatment modalities (CBT, ACT, IFS, Rogerian, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused, and Experiential). I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at James Madison University in Virginia, and my Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling at Xavier University here in Cincinnati. I’m passionate about spiritual connection through yoga and meditation, interior design, creative writing, beach vacations, and hanging out with my kids Angus and Julia.</image:caption>

<image:title>Younce - Tanya Younce MEd, LPCC</image:title>
<image:caption>We are all wired to find equilibrium — that natural state of balance within body, mind, and spirit. Yet life’s outside influences — relationships, work, finances, health issues, or world events — can easily throw us off course. We take a few steps forward, only to get pushed back again. If you find yourself struggling to hold things together in the midst of stress, loss, or major change, it may be life’s invitation for you to grow. Therapy is a journey of self-discovery and healing — one where I walk beside you as a trusted guide who listens deeply, teaches with compassion, and supports you wholeheartedly. Together, we’ll uncover new insights, challenge outdated patterns, heal emotional wounds, and build the skills you need to move through life’s challenges with clarity and resilience. Some of the journeys I’ve helped individuals and couples navigate include midlife transitions, marital disconnection, identity crises, divorce recovery, grief and loss, work/life imbalance, parenting issues, and anxiety. My approach is deeply humanistic and compassionate, offering a warm and nonjudgmental environment where you can release tension and rediscover peace. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with over 20 years of experience and training in several modalities (CBT, IFS, Rogerian, Strength-Based, Trauma-Focused, and Experiential). I’m also the author of Mastering Emotional Intelligence in Relationships: The Secret to Managing Emotions, Expressing Needs, and Strengthening a Love That Lasts. I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from James Madison University in Virginia, and my Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Xavier University in Cincinnati. Outside of work, I’m passionate about yoga, meditation, interior design, writing, and time with my kids, Angus and Julia.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Welcome! I am an East Coast native but have found myself settled here in Cincinnati since 2013. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and received my Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. I’ve worked in a variety of settings including community and school based settings. I’ve had the privilege of serving children, adolescents, and adults. My previous work in schools gives me a unique perspective on the pressures that our children face. I have a passion for working with kids and helping them learn to express their thoughts and feelings in a safe, trusting environment. By utilizing evidence based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I aim to help your child learn to cope with their stressors and increase their well being in your family unit. I believe in individualized care, recognizing each child is unique. My ultimate goal is to empower your child, instilling necessary skills to navigate life with confidence and resilience. Together, we will work toward fostering emotional growth, promoting self-discovery, and enhancing overall well-being. Although my practice focuses on children and adolescents, I believe that we are all capable of growth, healing, and change. You are welcomed and accepted no matter what age or life stage you are in. In my free time, you will find me outdoors hiking, paddle boarding, or biking. I also enjoy traveling, photography, and experiencing new adventures. When I’m home, you can find me snuggling with my sweet, floppy-eared bunny named Charlie.</image:caption>

<image:caption>So often as women, we are too busy fulfilling the many roles we occupy that we put our values, needs, and desires on the backburner. I can help you through that work to get back in touch (or in touch for the first time!) with your values and what’s important to you. Whether you’re juggling the many facets of motherhood (trying to get pregnant, having a difficult pregnancy, struggling postpartum), going through a difficult life transition, grieving any kind of loss, struggling with depression or anxiety, I’m here to help find a way forward. I use components of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness approaches to help tailor a plan to fit your needs. I have a PMH (Perinatal Mental Health) certification from Postpartum Support International to treat perinatal mental health challenges. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology and a Master’s in Social Work from Ohio State University. I’ve spent the last 12+ years as a clinical social worker in every level of care. I’m building my practice after working in different health systems for the last several years, so there are immediate openings! In my spare time, I love hanging out with my husband and our two girls, reading, writing, and staying connected with family and friends.</image:caption>
